With the aim of helping to train tomorrow’s professionals, since 2002 Torraspapel, part of the Lecta Group, has carried out a collaboration project with 29 Participating Graphic Arts Schools in Spain.

Through this collaboration, students benefit from different activities taking place throughout the academic year and from a series of educational and training materials created exclusively for students participating in the project.

This 2008-2009 academic year offers students the opportunity to discover the Papermaking Process II CD-Rom, the second part of an interactive teaching trilogy created exclusively, in conjunction with the Metal Asturias Foundation, for the schools participating in Torraspapel's Collaboration Project. The first edition, the Papermaking Process I, was issued last year.

For the 2006-2007 academic year a Teaching Materials Kit was assembled containing a wide range of material related with paper, including the DVDs "El proceso de fabricación del papel" (The Papermaking Process) and "La fabricación de papeles especiales" (Making Specialty Papers), the book "El papel y otros soportes de impression" (Paper and Other Printing Supports), written by Torraspapel's Head of Technical Training, José Manuel Fernández Zapico, along with numerous catalogues and leaflets that are especially practical for learning about paper.
