2008: "Trees Against Fire"
Torraspapel is taking part in the recovery and conservation of the mixed autochthonous forest in the province of Lugo (Galicia), devastated by fires in the summer of 2006.
2007:"Trees For Urdaibai"
In April 2007, Torraspapel planted 750 trees and bushes in the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve in Biscay, Spain. The aim in this project was to recover and conserve the mixed native forest, re-establishing the original flora, and thus gaining the attendant ecological benefits.
2006:"More Than A Paper Tree"
With the planting of 2,800 trees near Cazalegas (Toledo), Torraspapel has contributed to improving the riverside habitats of the river Alberche, a tributary of the river Tajo, by recovering and consolidating the native flora and fauna.
2005:"You Plant This Tree"
Torraspapel planted 10,000 trees to restore the Atlantic Coast Rainforest in the upper basin of the Itajaí river in the state of Santa Catarina (Brazil). The action involved reforesting 10 hectares during the months of July and August 2005, along with the subsequent maintenance work.
2004:"A Tree In Your Name"
Torraspapel recovered riverside woodlands in the Sant Llorenç del Munt i l'Obac Natural Park (province of Barcelona) that was destroyed in the forest fires of the summer of 2003. 4,200 native-species trees were planted in the area in the spring of 2004.
