FAQS

Is Coral Book paper ECF?

Yes. All the papers that make up the Coral Book range are manufactured with ECF (Elementary Chlorine Free) woodfree pulp. In other words, chlorine gas is not used in the whitening process of cellulose, eliminating in this way effluent dioxins.

What environmental guarantees does the Coral Book range of papers offer?

Torraspapel is firmly committed to protecting the environment, and toward that end in the manufacturing of all its products, including the Coral Book range, it uses natural, renewable raw materials, employs production processes that respect the environment, and manufactures recyclable and biodegradable papers.

In addition, 100% of Torraspapel’s production is ECF and all of the Group’s mills have completed ISO 9001 certification and ISO 1400 environmental management certification. Mills where the Coral Book range is manufactured also hold European environmental EMAS certification.

The wood used in the production process of the Coral Book range comes from sustainably managed forests, and Coral Book products are available upon request with PEFC and FSC Chain of Custody forest certifications.
