FAQS
Are self-adhesives safe for contact with foodstuffs?
The majority of our facestock and adhesives have been certified according to Recommendation XXXVI of the German BfR regulation for Alimentary Uses, therefore may be used for labels that will be in contact with food.
Can Kraft 80 gr be used for PVC in sheets?
We recommend that Kraft 130 gr always be used given the high static electricity of the facestock to avoid curling.
Must a WS facestock always be used for labeling applications in moist conditions?
The use of a WS facestock is always recommended to avoid problems with the label coming off.
What is the shelf life of adhesives?
The expiration date or shelf life of adhesives refers to the amount of time a self-adhesive complex can be stored and continue to be usable without losing any of its essential properties. It does not refer to the shelf life of an adhesive after it has been applied to a determined surface.
Our adhesives have a minimum shelf life, beginning from the moment of manufacturing, of one year for removable RA-678 adhesives and 2 years for all others.
These guarantees concerning shelf life apply as long as the material has been properly stored, in conditions with a relative humidity of 50% and a temperature of 20ºC.
