 7th Torraspapel Design Contest for Graphic Design Students: 2010 for the use of sustainable paper

Paper is ecological, biodegradable, recyclable and manufactured from a renewable raw material using environment-friendly technologies.

 

For the 7th Design Contest, Torraspapel, in keeping with its environmental commitment, chose the following concept for the Graphic Design Students: design a bookmark using the idea of paper as a sustainable media.

Students from the schools in Spain participating in Torraspapel's Partnership Program have until February 22, 2010, to send in their work.

 

On March 12, 2010, we will announce the decision of the panel of judges, made up of graphic design specialists, on our web page and in writing to the schools. Awards will go to Graphic Design students based on the following categories: - Students of Publishing Design and Production; Masters of Graphic Arts Students, - Students of Print and Pre-Print.

 

Participants' effort and high level of creativity in each category will be rewarded with:

  • First prize: Netbook Acer Aspire 531 and a certifying diploma,
  • Second prize: Ipod Itouch 8 Gb with accessories and a certifying diploma.

 

In addition, the schools of the winners will receive a plaque and a check for 1000 € for the purchase of school materials.
