"II Torraspapel Graphic Arts School Design Contest"

 3/1/2005

Torraspapel launches its second Graphic Arts School Design Contest centering on the theme of Don Quixote.

Torraspapel wants to make the most of the four hundredth anniversary of the publication of Don Quixote by bringing graphic arts students closer to the most universal work of Spanish literature. To do so, the participants must study the work, its characters, adventures, misfortunes and dreams, and transform their knowledge in a bookmark.

Students registered in Graphic Arts Courses at schools which belong to Torraspapel's Collaboration Project are eligible to participate in the contest. A list of these schools and contest rules can be found in Torraspapel's website.

The reward: First prize: a G4 12'' Ibook computer and accrediting diploma. Second prize: a digital Kodak Easyshare DX 6440 camera with Printer Dock and accrediting diploma.

The schools of the winners will receive a plaque and a 1500 and 1000 euro check, respectively, to purchase classroom material.
