This project's goal is for Graphic Arts students to become more familiar with paper and its production.

Torraspapel is a company with 300 years of history and paper… 300 years of knowledge to share with Graphic Arts schools.
At Torraspapel, we believe that interaction with the academic world is crucial, offering students the opportunity to have direct contact with the business world and stay abreast of new trends in the market.

TARGET AUDIENCE____________________

Every year, more than 3.500 Spanish students from different lines of study benefit from the project: Printing and Production in Graphic Arts, Design and Editorial Production, both at the secondary and university level. Currently, collaboration agreements have been signed with 29 schools.

Torraspapel's paper mill locations and strong positioning in Spain allow us to provide students and schools with a deeper understanding and knowledge of one of the industry's key raw materials.

THE PROJECT_________________________

Torraspapel began working on this project with Graphic Arts schools at the beginning of 2002. There are currently 29 schools participating. Participating schools benefit from:

• Guided tours to our paper mills to experience the paper-manufacturing process on site
  
• Seminars and conferences at the school given by specialized Torraspapel staff
  
• Educational videos and interactive tools on the paper manufacturing process and paper products, along with classroom material
  
• Samples from our comprehensive product line
  
• Collaboration in paper used in school workshops
  
• Promotional material for the classrooms
  

Moreover, every year, Torraspapel organizes the Graphic Arts School Design Contest, with more than 700 participants to date.
