As today's European society is. Made up of people of different sexes and sexual orientations, ethnic groups, races, religions and cultures, skills and disabilities.

During 2007 the European Council and Parliament are holding the European Year of Equal Opportunities for All, and here at Torraspapel, part of the Lecta Group, we have decided to take advantage of this event to convey these values to Graphic Arts students. There is still a great deal to do, but raising the awareness of the new generations is a first step.

The contest was open to all students enrolled in Graphic Arts programmes of the participant Spanish schools in the Torraspapel Collaboration Project. The list of schools can be found on this website.

The prizes for rewarding competitors' efforts are: first prize, an Apple iBook laptop computer and a diploma; second prize, a Kodak Easyshare digital camera with print base and a diploma.

The schools to which the winners belong will receive, respectively, a plaque and a cheque for a value of €1,500 and €1,000 to purchase material for the school.
